Product Care

Field of use
These sunglasses protect against the risk of eye injuries due to exposure to sunlight (other than during direct observation of the sun). These sunglasses comply with the requirements of EN ISO 12312-1:2022 and meet the essential health and safety requirements defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/425. These sunglasses are: not suitable for direct observation of the sun or viewing of solar eclipses; not designed to protect against artificial radiation sources (e.g. solaria); not suitable for protection against mechanical impact hazards; not suitable for driving in twilight or at night. The parts of these sunglasses in direct contact with the skin do not cause irritation or other conditions in people who do not suffer from allergies or skin diseases. Adverse contact reactions to materials and treatments used in particularly sensitive or allergic subjects cannot be ruled out.

Cleaning
For cleaning, use a damp cloth and a mild neutral detergent, dry with a soft clean cloth. Avoid using solvents (e.g. alcohol and acetone) and aggressive chemical cleaners that can affect the functionality of the eyewear. In case of contact with agents such as salt water, swimming-pool water, make-up, hairspray, sun lotions, or insect repellents, immediately remove such agents using a soft clean cloth.

Maintenance and Storage
The durability of these sunglasses depends on proper care and frequency of use. Store between –10 °C and +35 °C in the case provided. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight in unconditioned indoor environments (e.g. car dashboard), as the temperatures reached under these conditions may damage the eyewear. Use only original accessories and spare parts.

Marking
The model identifier is marked on the frame. The filter category is indicated on the frame, preceded by ‘Cat.’ as defined by EN ISO 12312-1:2022. The presence of ‘P’ indicates polarized lenses. Two numbers indicate photochromic lenses, identifying the filter category in their faded and darkened states respectively. If supplied with a clip-on, the category marked refers to the combined light-transmission value of both filters.
